In a december morning,
just when the fog cleared
my eyes got stuck on the blood red lips of yours.

Dumbstruck I stood waiting for your eyes to notice mine
& when they did, I got rattled up.
Heartbeats were banging my chest to come out,
thirst & sweat made it clear to you revealing my state of mind.

Looking towards you I was hoping if you would choose to look at me once.
All my confidence drained out of me when you were around.
How on earth was it possible for me to not be with you?
This came as a dark cloud of despair to me & miserable I was.

Then you came along seeking a favor,
God has his ways, exalted by your gracious charm...
I spent a lifetime in that moment of serenity.
Next thing was your hands were on mine,
my heart stopped, all my miseries were over.

I said to you,
"If you are there with me there is nothing in this dimension I can't conquer"
you replied with your subliming smile in your consent.
In that flash of a moment, we became immortal in "OUR" love!
Our unsung love affair...

"Reminiscence" When I first saw you, I felt like a barren land, deserted of water for ages. Forever I was to be yours, till the sun loves the moon, till the moon divorces the tides, until the end of time. Just to prove I was worth your love. I still see your name floating in the gust of winds. But, I no longer wish to catch it anymore.    Your love gave me music, an instrument but before I could even learn to play it, you left.
