I wanted to write something but
I have been trying for too long now,
here...

Where were you when I was 17, huh? - she said,
unraveled under the urgency of her gaze,
my eyes lit up with joy in her response.

With her smoky eyes, dark straight hair
& an incessant voice,
my body got synced with her’s like a frozen music.

Promising me of her never-ending love,
she departed vanishing into her Eden.

For the magic of her touch leaving a trail on my skin
I writhed with desire & yearned for her evermore.

"Reminiscence" When I first saw you, I felt like a barren land, deserted of water for ages. Forever I was to be yours, till the sun loves the moon, till the moon divorces the tides, until the end of time. Just to prove I was worth your love. I still see your name floating in the gust of winds. But, I no longer wish to catch it anymore.    Your love gave me music, an instrument but before I could even learn to play it, you left.
